Strategic Sourcing
The Strategic Sourcing team is responsible for the procurement, contract negotiation, and supplier management of food and food-related products for Purdue Dining & Culinary. Annual purchases for these items exceed $19 million, with approximately $6 million warehoused and distributed through Strategic Sourcing Operations.
The team also manages campus vending operations and serves as a resource for academic units and campus partners, providing sourcing support for teaching, research, and campus events.
Dry goods are stocked at the Materials Management and Distribution Center (MMDC). Refrigerated and frozen products are stocked at Piazza Cold Storage. Products ship out of MMDC located at:
